Michael Toney, Founder - Conquest Training Systems, Inc.

As a nationally recognized sales trainer, Conquest Training Systems, Inc. Founder Michael Toney has compiled a diverse portfolio of successful clients. During his 20 years of professional sales experience, he has helped numerous clients - ranging from start-up entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 executives - exceed expectations and grow their productivity.

Michael's teaching style has been described as dynamic, interactive and energizing. Employing proven technology and strategy gained from leading organizations such as the Sandler Sales Institute, he uses role-playing techniques that challenge and motivate participants. He is a master at meeting the exacting needs of mid- to upper-level business professionals, demonstrating an ability to think on his feet while creating a nurturing environment for sharing knowledge within a powerful group dynamic.

An Arizona native, Michael grew up in Phoenix and worked for Motorola Inc., as an electronics engineer designing missile defense and satellite systems.  While on the job, he created a process of "internal selling" in which he applied his exceptional communication skills as the key element for getting projects completed promptly and in an accurate, profitable manner. 

Following a seven-year stint at Motorola, Michael accepted a position with Hewlett-Packard, where he consulted and trained elite customers on newly designed systems. His effective communication talents eventually led to a position in the sales department, where he quickly rose through the ranks and achieved award-winning sales figures.

Over the years, Michael learned all he could about selling and sales training, while at the same time, applying his knowledge as a consultant to TRW, IBM and other Fortune 500 companies. In 1997, he founded Conquest Training Systems, Inc. Michael's commitment and passion for his business carries over to his family life, where he is the father of four teenagers (Christopher, Chalysse, Candyce and Chantelle), including twin girls.
